GET OUT OF MY WAY

Wednesday - September 22, 2010 - Daniel 9-10; Psalm 123; Luke 5

S - Luke 5:19 When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

O - Some men knew that Jesus could make a paralyzed man walk. All they had to do was find a way to get the man through the crowd to Jesus.

A - How many times have I walked away from something because I didn't feel worthy enough to fight for what was mine? More than I can remember. But, one time I didn't walk away. One time I was selfish for all the right reasons. One time I fought my way to the right line to stand in front of the woman whom everybody wanted praying for them - because I was desperate for a touch from God. I was desperate to get an impartation of what this woman had. And the experience was life changing. Fight for what is rightfully yours through the promises of God.

P - Lord, I thank You that it's perfectly okay for me to be totally selfish in this one area of my life - my time alone with You. Refresh me, renew me, commission me, Lord.
