Monday, 7/12/10 – Isaiah 11-14; Hebrews 9 - “HE IS OUR SALVATION, OUR STRENGTH, OUR SONG!”
S – Isaiah 12:2 – “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation." NIV
O – The writer declares that God is the author, or source of our salvation, that it is not brought about by human hands, but is traced directly to God. The believers are taught to triumph in God, not only as the One Who saves, but the One in Whom we are safe.
A - Since God is its author, since He is able to defend us, and to perfect that which has begun, we can put our confidence in Him and not be afraid of anything that may come our way. We can trust Him with all of our concerns, being confident that He will not fail us, for He is our strength. If we make Him our song, He will be our song.
P – Lord, thank You for the promise that YOU ARE our salvation, YOU ARE our strength, YOU ARE our song! Teach us to walk in that Truth and today, Lord, teach us what it means that YOU ARE OUR SONG!
