THE ORDINARY, DOING THE EXTRAORDINARY

S--Acts 4:13 “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.”

O- Peter and John were attracting quite a crowd…people were being healed and saved…the ordinary were creating an extraordinary atmosphere and the Sanhedrin were upset and did not know what to do.

A-Here is a case where the unschooled and ordinary men such as Peter and John were doing the extraordinary. In the name of Jesus they were healing, teaching and setting people free. Have you ever thought or said “I can’t teach or pray for others, I have not been schooled in that area…I am just an ordinary person.” In Acts 4:20 they say “for we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Their passion for sharing the Gospel is so apparent…they are driven to proclaim the Good News. Do we share our , faith with our families, neighbors, colleagues, or are we leaving that up to someone less ordinary? The Bible says “go and make disciples…” it does not say if you have been schooled to preach…then go. God has commissioned each of us ordinary people to go and tell.

P-Thank you God that I do have a testimony of your healing and saving power in my life. Please help me to be bold in proclaiming Your love and saving power to all I meet. Thank You that in Your eyes we are all EXTRAORDINARY.
