Wednesday - January 26, 2011 - Exodus 14-16; Acts 2
S- Acts 2:17 "In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams."
O - Peter is quoting from Joel 2:28-32 explaining what was happening with the believers as they were touched by the Holy Spirit.
A - It is Holy Spirit who enables us to see prophetic visions and dream prophetic dreams. This is one way that God communicates with us. Do not discount what you envision or dream, saying it is because of something you ate. Although sometimes this may be true, be cognizant of the fact that God DOES communicate this way and He may be wanting to tell you (and us through you) something really important. Pray. God will allow you to discern the difference.
P - Lord, I pray for more. Open our eyes, ears and hearts so that we may understand everything you're telling us.
