S-Titus 3:9 “Avoid foolish controversies and quarrels about the law because these are unprofitable and useless.”
O- Paul is writing to Titus instructing him on how to live a productive life.
A-How much time do we waste arguing and debating issues just to prove what…that we are knowledgeable; that we are right? Everyone wants to be right…but we often put too much stock in being right…it feeds our pride, and can create an atmosphere of hostility. Paul says it is unprofitable and useless. We should look for the things that we agree on…creating an atmosphere of peace and openness which encourages a positive dialogue.
P- Father help me to have a loving and agreeable spirit.
