S - Micah 2:1 - 2a - "Woe to those who devise iniquity, and work out evil on their beds!At morning light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand. they covet fields and take them by violence..."
O - This is goal setting run amok. This scripture tells of people having an evil goal, planning it, and following through and acting on that goal. Over and over in the news lately, I have read the sad story of trusted employees who stole from their company or town. They did this crime for years and years. They did it for years and years because there were no checks and balances in the system and because people trusted them. They did it because they could. It was "in their power". Now their sin has been exposed, and their judgement has come, and the are experiencing disgrace, a ruined life, and jail time.
A - What we think,imagine, and plan, may turn into action, so we must be careful that what we think and dream about are good godly thoughts that we would not be ashamed to have others know about.
P - Lord, let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable to you. Amen.
