2 Kings 18, 19; 2 Chron. 32 James
"Don't Grumble & Judge"
S- James 5:9 Don't grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The judge is standing at the door!
O- James is writing about how we must conduct ourselves as christians. In this passage he is saying "don't grumble and judge each other." Don't talk about each other, and judge the way someone else is or is not. For if you do, you will also be judge by the God of the universe in the same way.
A- Wooo hooo woo hooooo....Wow, Easier said, than DONE! Well, unless you are confident in who you are and know how God sees and thinks of you. Then how others are doesn't really matter, because you know that their walk is not yours. The easiest way to turn off a non-believer is by judging what they do......"well, if you want to be a christian, you have to quit_______(fill in the blank). Or better yet, they are a christian, because they gave their life to the Lord, but they still struggle with __________(fill in the blank). We all struggle with something, so who are we to judge.
P-Lord help us to focus our eyes on ourselves, and love one another for who we are, not who we want people to be. Let us see the gold that you see in everyone. Before we are quit to judge, remind us that there is gold and treasure in every life, because every life is your creation, and each is unique and has purpose in the body of Christ. Thank you for your GRACE & your Love. Amen!!!!
