CUSTOM

by Vivian Bills

Wednesday, 2/10/10 - Leviticus 13, 14; Acts 17

S - Acts 17:2 (NIV) As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the scriptures.

O - Paul was consistent and habitual. He'd preach in the synagogue in a new place for 3 Sabbaths and people would get saved.

A - What is your custom? What are your habits? Is there anything godly that is consistent in your life that would bring glory to God? We have good ideas that we may try once or twice when "the spirit moves us" but are we consistent whether we feel it or not? What would happen if we were? Would God move heaven and earth? Would many people come to know Christ?

P - Lord, even when speaking of You doesn't seem to get immediate results, I will continue to do so. I will do the work and trust You with the results. Save them, Lord.
