1King 2, 1 Chr.29, Psalm 95, 2.Th. 1 "God Love a Cheerful Giver"

S- 1 Chronicles 29:3 Besides, in my devotion to the temple of my God, I now give my personal treasures of gold and silver for the temple of my God, over and above everything I have provided for this hold temple.

O- David gave everything and had a passion in his heart to do so. All of his treasures he freely gave. He knew his son Solomon was "chosen" by God to lead this huge task of building the temple. Even with little experience and being young, David knew God would be faithful in leading his "chosen" because of the heart of Solomon to be obedient to the call. The temple was being build of all the precious gems and valuables from the people.......willingly giving of their processions. At the end it says the people "rejoiced."

A- God wants us to not have a grumbling spirit when we He asks us to give. In everything do with "Thanksgiving." In all of the scriptures for todays SOAP they were about giving Thanks, and be joyful in giving. God is really trying to send us a message here. All we have is HIS anyways, so let's be joyful when He asks us to give it away, for His intentions and motives are far greater than ours, and in the end He knows all anyway, and knows what is best for us, so lets be "joyful" to give it away for HIS glory and for HIS divine purpose. He chose the heart not the talent. That's what I want for my life and for our church. There are many young people who God can put His finger on and say "rise up" young Solomon and lead this task.....Let's embrace His chosen.

P- Lord, in all things let us give YOU thanks. Let us be joyful in our giving with the freedom of thanksgiving in our hearts. May we understand the concept of Giving and receiving the JOY that goes beyond any understanding, and the freedom that it brings to our soul and spirit. You came to us to give, let's us do so well, ad unconditionally without wanting to receive, or with the wrong motive. Make my heart a giving heart and one that is connected to yours and knows the secrets of the prayers in those that are in need or those you want to bless through us, and let us be obedient to the call, the "chosen" for the task. May you be pleased with your servants heart. Amen
