Thursday May 27, 2010 Proverbs 4-6, Romans 8

S- "7th Commandment" Prov. 6:32 But a man who commits adultery lacks judgement; whoever does so destroys himself.

O- In both proverbs 5 & 6, Solomon gives warning to the men about adultery, and to stay away from the snare of the temptation of a seductive woman. He shares how it will only
bring torment to your life, to your mind, and to you soul. It's a corruptive sin, that the enemy uses to destroy your soul from worship, and intimacy with the Father. The warning
is to guard your hearts, your eyes, your mind, your tongue, and follow the Father's advice of the 7th commandment, "Do not commit Adultery."

A- Growing up I watched how adultery can steal kill and destroy, and how it torments a soul. It's like it just becomes a way of life, and the ones involved in the act of adultery
don't even realize what is happening to their soul, because they are so deceived and so distant from God, and worship is the last thing on their minds. God wants our
intimacy to be pure with our spouse, and with Him, and to be able to come to Him with a pure heart, not one that is full of corruption and deceit. Alot of people struggle
with lust and pornography because it starts in the mind and it can stay hidden from others. Therefore, they destroy themselves and don't even realize it.
Give us the hearts to help free those that are captive from this evil, and without
shame or judgement, so they too, can be free and have pure intimacy with the Father.

P-Lord help us! This world is full of distortion of sex and pornography. Keep our marriages as Godly examples. Keep our relationships pure, and our hearts guarded from
crossing the line. Let us take the 7th commandment of "Do not commit Adultery" as serious, as you intended it to be. Sex brings please for the moment, but adultrey brings
torment for a lifetime, and leads straight to hell. Keep our minds, our eyes and our souls clean Lord. Let us appreciate, Love & Respect our spouses. Amen
