Go Figure...oh Wait! We Can't!!

Monday, 5/30/11 – Proverbs 13-15; Romans 11 – “Go Figure... oh Wait! We Can't!”

S– Romans 11:33 – “Have you ever come on anything quite like this extravagant generosity of God, this deep, deep wisdom? It's way over our heads. We'll never figure it out.” [the Message Bible]

O –Man had no power to save himself. This chapter talks about the Jews and Gentiles in different ways seeking to justify themselves, and both had failed. God introduced His plan of divine wisdom to save mankind. His plan, mercy and love are a display of His unspeakable glory.

A – God’s ways cannot be traced or figured out! His riches and generosity are beyond vast and beyond words. The pardon of our sin, the atonement, the promise of heaven, the peace of the gospel, all portray His amazing grace and rich mercy. And since it is all beyond language to describe, what we can do is stand in amazement, praise, adoration and be forever grateful.

P – Father, what is there to say today except that we adore You, honor You, thank You and love You for Your amazing grace extended toward us. May we live every day from a heart of gratitude, eager to display Your love to the world.
