TESTIMONY

September 7, 2011 - 2 Kings 25; 2 Chronicles 36; Jeremiah 40-41; Revelation 12

S- Revelation 12:11  They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

O - John foretold that Christians would be victorious over Satan by Jesus' sacrifice and by their own testimony.

A - There is power and victory in the telling of your testimony.  When you tell others why you believe and about the things Jesus has done for you, you win battles against Satan.  Thinking about all the things Jesus has done for me brings me out of dark places.  Reflecting on His goodness and telling others about Him can bring them out of their depression into places of hope.  Don't dwell on and in dark places.  Be in the light and tell your story to others to draw them toward that same light.

P - Lord, give me opportunities to tell my testimony and lead others to You and Your marvelous light.  I pray this in Your name.  Amen!
