Deuteronomy 16-18; Psalm 38; Galatians

JUSTIFIED BY FAITH
by Mary White

S--Galatians 2:15b “…a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ.”
O--Three times in Gal 2 it says that no one is justified by observing the law…but by putting our faith in Jesus Christ.

A--The definition on justified is: to declare free of blame and guilt; absolve of grievous sin. We can follow all the rules and still not be justified. The law cannot justify… only faith in Jesus Christ and the acceptance of His free gift of atonement can justify. Following the law is a good thing to do and pleases God. Putting our trust in Jesus and what He has done for us is what declares us free and blameless .

P--Thank you Jesus for dying on the Christ to pay the penalty for my sins and giving me freedom.
