TO THE LATTER RAIN NAYSAYERS

by Vivian Bills

Wednesday - March 2, 2011 - Numbers 30-31; Mark 9

S - Mark 9:39-40 "Do not stop him," Jesus said. "No one who does a miracle in my name can in the next moment say anything bad about me, for whoever is not against us is for us.

O - The disciples thought they knew better and tried to stop someone who was casting out demons in Jesus' name because he hadn't gone through all the proper training as they had.

A - There are many holy people, believers, who condemn the recent moves of the Holy Spirit as not coming from God. They bring up peoples' sins and shortcomings as proof that these same people cannot be being used by God to perform miracles. However, Jesus himself said whoever is not against us is for us. Are they not setting captives free? They are certainly not against us for they do everything in Jesus' name. It's scriptural. Do not stop them.

P - Father, I thank You for the miracles You still perform every day. I ask that You open the eyes of the naysayers, that they may recognize that You are indeed moving in this day and age in all Your glory!
