Tuesday 10/25/11 Job 16; Acts 21-23
S – Acts 21:1,3-5,7-8, After we had
torn ourselves away from them, we put out to sea... We landed at
Tyre, where our ship was to unload its cargo. Finding the disciples
there, we stayed with them seven days. But when our time was up, we
left and continued on our way. We continued our voyage and landed at
Ptolemais, where we greeted the brothers and stayed with them a day.
Leaving the next day … we stayed at the house of Philip.
O – On their journey back to
Jerusalem, Paul and his buddies stayed with various Christian
brothers and sisters where they found encouragement and sustenance.
A – It is a glorious thing to
fellowship with Believers! I am here in Barbados for a concert, staying in the home of a
friend, meeting the family and being greatly encouraged by his mom.
How inspiring it is to hear testimonies of God's faithfulness in the
lives of other Believers! God is Faithful and He created the body so
that we could inspire and encourage us to continue walking in the
faith. We need the insight and wisdom that others have to share.
P – Father, thank you for family, our
natural families and our spiritual families. Thank you that even
when we meet strangers in the faith, they immediately feel like
family to us. This is a special gift you have given us. You are so
about relationships! May we be faithful about meeting together to
encourage each other. Amen.
