Wednesday, October 5, 2011 - Esther 3-8; Luke 18
S - Esther 4:14b And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?
O - Mordecai is telling Esther that she may have attained her royal position just to save the Jews.
A - I was thinking today of the many times I could have died, but didn't. Let me tell you, it's more times than I care to admit. Many times I ask why. Why me? Why do I have the job I have, the children I have; why am I at my church? Is there something significant I must do with courage for the Lord?
P - Lord, help me to find my purpose in You!
