Wednesday - January 6 - Genesis 15-17; Luke 6 - STRONG FOUNDATION
S - Luke 6:48 (NIV) He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
O - Jesus was speaking of those who listen to Him and put His words into practice. When adversity comes, he will not be broken or crushed; he will stand strong.
A - We must look at adversity as that flood. Is our faith shaken? Are we broken by that which comes against us? Then perhaps we should take a good look at our walk with the Lord. The floods will come. So, it is better to prepare now. Dig deep into the Word of God and do what it says.
P - Dear God, help me to be a doer of the Word, that my foundation in You would be sure and strong.

Yes, Viv! YES! We want our foundation in the Lord and His Word to be deep...to be strong enough to take us to new heights, new levels.
