Friday 1/29/10 Ex 23,24; Ps 14; Acts 5 GOD-EXPECTANT?
S- Ps 14:2 MSG/NIV God sticks his head out of heaven. He looks around. He's looking for someone not stupid (any who understand, any who seek God) - one man, even, God-expectant, just one God-ready woman.
O- In this Psalm, David speaks of foolish people, of the folly of evil men. "The [empty-headed] fool has said in his heart, There is no God (v1, AMP).
A- When God sticks his head out of heaven, how does he find us?! Are we seeking Him, are we expectant, are we pursuing Him.
P - Lord, I pray that 2010 is the year that I seek You more, that I am "smarter" in this life because I am connecting more with You. I am glad that I am reading Your word regularly again. May my relationship with You grow even beyond that. I am expectant!

Yes, my spirit leaps with that! Let's pray for an increase of wisdom in each other and in the church. We want to work smart, live smart and be a blessing. I believe that there is so much more! Holy Spirit, release the wisdom of God in greater measure for God's glory.
